Chengbin Zhang is
a professional photographer. He lives in Shanghai, China. He started
shooting in 2002, carrying a camera during the day, and immersing
himself in the surreal world of creativity at night. He has many
work in landscapes and people portraits, and he is particularly
skilled at street photography, capturing the authentic moments of
peoples' lives. Focusing on human
rights and freedom, he shoots people who struggle with poverty, and
his work often evokes compassion, understanding and reflection. To
communicate with the audience in a powerful way, he often puts
together series of photos to tell stories. These photos, may look
ordinary on their own, convey compelling messages when being grouped
together. His work was exhibited for many times both in the U.S. and
China.
